ILCWR pays tribute to Sue Morgan on National Volunteer Week

This National Volunteer Week, we want to pay tribute to long-time ILCWR volunteer Sue Morgan, who sadly passed away on April 3, 2021.

Sue was a dedicated and passionate community member and volunteer, and served on the ILCWR Board of Directors as Board Chair and donated her time and energy to many ILCWR initiatives over the years. As a devoted ILCWR supporter, Sue helped out at countless ILCWR events, rain or shine, always with a smile. She was also a big fan of the Kids on the Block program.

Sue volunteered for many organizations in our community and was a leader and advocate for people with disabilities. She was named Senior of the Year in 2020 by the City of Kitchener.

ILCWR extends its heartfelt condolences to Sue’s family and friends for their loss. We remember and recognize Sue’s generous spirit and incredible contributions to our organization and our community.

Please see Sue's obituary.

Sue loved any opportunity to bring Kids on the Block puppets to a meeting. Mark, pictured here, was her favourite.
