Thursday, July 11, 2013   A company called MyVoice Inc. had announced that people in Ontario with speech disabilities can now receive the company's TalkRocket Go communication aid app, along with an iPad or iPod touch at just a quarter of the cost, thanks Ontario Ministry of Health. Already, TalkRocket Go has helped thousands of Canadians with speech disabilities communicate out loud. The results are amazing users can participate in social life, access education, gain employment, and share the simply joy of speaking. They were awarded the Bolotin Award for achieving full integration of blind people into society and meeting the highest standard of accessibility in their software. Desire2Learn has decided to invest further in the community with a new 10 year accessibility program designed to encourage development of accessible tools and solutions. These mats are portable and durable rollout matts that are specially designed to improve the mobility of wheelchair users across the sand. Great way to make the beach enjoyable for everyone. For the most part disability is forgotten or pushed to the margins in many novels, there are not many disabled characters in books, but Wilson has tracked down 10 great novels which take on disability.
