Friday, July 8, 2011 Kitchener-based IT firm Dolphin Digital has been recognized with a Canadian Innovator of the Year award at the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters national forum in Ottawa.  The company provides network support, mostly to non-profit organizations, and has a staff of eight employees, all of whom are individuals with disabilities. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 Harley Kaufmann-Sacrey, the newest member of the Independent Living Centre of Waterloo Region family, was featured in the Waterloo Region Record today as the recipient of the Carol Shantz Bursary Award.  The honour, which is bestowed annually by KidsAbility, will be used toward Harley's undergraduate program in legal studies at the University of Waterloo. This summer, Harley is the resident Events Planner at ILCWR, a role which primarily involves handling the preliminary planning stages of the Access 2012 TradeShow.
