The Waterloo Region Record has published an eloquent editorial by Neena Chappell, a Professor in the Centre on Aging and the Department of Sociology at the University of Victoria.  In her article, Chappell articulates many of the threats facing Ontario's healthcare system, and offers policy changes that could successfully address them.  One of her suggestions is to focus upon integrated and home-based healthcare, a solution which the Independent Living Centre of Waterloo Region has been offering since 1982.
