On Friday, January 13th, CBC Radio in Ottawa reported on a story of a man who is visually impaired, but leads a relatively normal life with the assistance of accessible apps on his smartphone.

It is a great example of the kinds of advancements being made in the field of assistive devices, and a fascinating study of the emerging humanity inherent in technology.
