Harley Kaufmann-Sacrey, the newest member of the Independent Living Centre of Waterloo Region family, was featured in the Waterloo Region Record today as the recipient of the Carol Shantz Bursary Award. The honour, which is bestowed annually by KidsAbility, will be used toward Harley's undergraduate program in legal studies at the University of Waterloo.
This summer, Harley is the resident Events Planner at ILCWR, a role which primarily involves handling the preliminary planning stages of the Access 2012 TradeShow.
