Three gifted artists with disabilities will be showcasing their artwork until June 2nd as part of Digital Night: Exploring Art and Perception at the Silicon W Tech-Art Fusion Gallery in the old Boehmer Box factory.

The pieces by Meghan Sims, Kaitrin Beechey and Carlos Peters help their audience to see from their unique, personal perspective.  For Sims, who is interviewed in the Waterloo Region Record, that means hanging some of her paintings in a darkened room to give others the experience of achromatopsia--a condition which impairs her colour perception and ability to tolerate bright light.

The exhibit runs Tuesday - Thursday, 10:00am - 6:00pm.  For more information, e-mail info@silconw.com or visit www.siliconw.com.
