Accessibility really is at your finger tips with planat.com, a new website designed to make accessible trip planning quick and stress-free!
Created by The Rick Hanson Foundation, planat.com allows users to discover and add to a growing list of accessible locations from all over the world. Hotels, restaurant, theatres, office buildings, and much more are all rated for their accessibility pertaining to people with a variety of challenges. planat provides information and feedback for individuals with mobility, hearing, and vision issues.
There's no need spend time swimming through multiple webpages, either. Search results can be narrowed down by venue type, rating (on a easy-to-read 5 point system), type of accessibility required, location, or any one combination of these four features.
And if you want to plan on-the-go, planat is the tool for you! It can be used on a desktop or laptop computer, iPod, iPad, and devices that use Android 2.2 or higher on the Opera Mobile browser.
So go on, give it a try! Happy traveling!
