INFORMATION AND REFERRAL
is valuable not only to those with
disabilities, but to family, friends and the community at large. Through
our staff, library and community resources we are able to assist in
answering questions directly or to refer you to the appropriate agency
or service.
ILCWR's lending library provides up-to-date books,
videos, newspaper articles and government reports. Internet links
to both local and national disability organizations, and more are
available by clicking here.
ILCWR Access Fund
The Access
Fund is available through our centre to assist ILC consumers
with making purchases of assistive devices to help them achieve
greater independence.
Applications
are accepted at any time.
ILCWR
Transportation Fund
The Transportation Fund
is available to assist ILC consumers with 90% of their transit costs
to medical appointments out of town. The consumer would be responsible
for making the driving arrangements.
