Over the past few years, consumers have got together at the Shamrock Project in Helen Hall to put together their own beautiful planters of flowers. With the expertise help from our region’s Horticulturalist, Jim Kinzie of Rockway Gardens and volunteers, this workshop has been a great success and a wonderful time for everyone. The results have been totally amazing and rewarding for everyone.

There are always more than enough flowers to go around and many have come away with enough flowers to enjoy all summer. Flowers are donated by Jim Kinzie and Colour Paradise Greenhouses in Manneheim.

If you wish to use your own planter/pot bring it along to this year’s Balcony Gardening workshop. We will supply the plants, soil, gardening tools, expert knowledge, and we will have a few pots/planters if you don’t have one to bring.

Space is limited, so be sure to R.S.V.P. to Lorene Collingwood at
519-571-6788 ext 7479 or email her at lorene@ilcwr.org no later than
Friday June 29th, 2012.
